The Community assumes its leadership role in creating an adequate, modern and well-structured framework in order to:

• Coordinate and complete:
  • Regional policies
  • Research at universities and other research centres
  • National policies
  • European policies
• Improve fund raising and management. Attract and channel European funds and compensate the drop in structural funds with the increase in research funds.
• Unite the efforts of researchers, companies and public administrations
• Renovate and rejuvenate our ageing research force
• Develop the Community of Madrid’s own trademark image, an image associated with quality science.

A trademark for Science done in Madrid. Through IMDEA, the Autonomous Community of Madrid and all social agents subscribe a great agreement in favour of science and progress.
