One of IMDEA’s main objectives is contributing to the return of Spaniards who are currently working abroad.

IMDEA will dedicate a large part of its resources and efforts to this task. These scientists will form part of IMDEA as full-time researchers, with permanent contracts if they are already full or tenured researchers/professors; and a temporary contract subject to renewal by the Board after six years if they do not hold a tenured position upon their arrival to IMDEA.
