The IMDEA Energy Institute is incorporated as a private Foundation. This Institute has as main purpose to promote R&D activities in topics directly related with the energy, aspiring to become in mid-term one of the reference institutions in energy-related research at an international level.

The activities developed by Foundation IMDEA Energy will be financed through the resources associated to public and private funds.

Also, the Foundation IMDEA Energy will be able to obtain revenues associated at its own developed professional activities, including services to the industrial sector or the scientific community.
