The Institute pursues the following goals:

• To create research groups capable of studying a complex social reality from different perspectives simultaneously.
• To promote scientific projects of social relevance and contribute to an improvement in the quality of democracy.
• To direct young students towards research in the field of social sciences.
• To promote collaboration among social scientists and the business community.
• To attract social scientists working abroad.
• To provide scientific training to young researchers through Master and/or PhD programs to complete their education in cross-related disciplines.
