The 15th edition of The European Researchers’ Night in Madrid is already underway!

And for the IMDEA Institutes it is a luxury to once again ‘share the bill’ with the best educational and research institutions in the Community of Madrid, led once again this year by the Fundación para el Conocimiento madrimasd.
It sounds like a ‘cliché’, but it’s the truth! This European project gives us the opportunity to see that society appreciates our work, a work that is also our passion.
The European Researchers’ Night in Madrid 2024
From the kick-off meeting of the project, which was launched this May, we got the same impression as every year: what a pity not to be able to attend the 200 or so activities that will be organized in Madrid!
Sleeping in a museum, learning how nature has been purifying water for centuries, accompanying a doctor on his daily rounds at the hospital, understanding why what we eat is so important for our health and that what is good for you may not be good for your friend… There are hundreds of things like this in the activities being organized by the nearly 30 institutions participating in the project.
In this fifteenth edition, the seven IMDEA Institutes will return to the Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid, on Friday, September 27, with the activity Science that helps the Planet (I) or Science, what would we do without you?
For now, we are not going to reveal any more. We would just like to invite you to participate in this great European project, which would be meaningless without you.
More than 1,000 researchers will be showing us their work and trying to get us to know them a little better – they’ll appreciate it immensely.
