Manuel Romero, Deputy Director of IMDEA Energy, elected Vice-President of Science and Technology Affairs of ISES

Dr. Romero declares that the main objective for his term is to take advantage of one of the most valuables assets of the association, the human capital represented by its members, to provide effective contributions to the scientific and technical arena. “ISES should take a clear leadership in the field of solar energy science and technology as a reference institution for planners and decision makers on R&D policies, through the creation of experts groups formed by members of ISES eager to contribute to the elaboration of topical documents and with active involvement in regional and international initiatives. The VP on S&T Affairs should link the capacities of the working groups with the tools available at the association like the Solar Energy Journal, the publishing and dissemination capacities, and the connection with ISES Divisions, industry and other associations”- he said.
