ERC Advanced Grant

Dr. Nazario Martín, Deputy Director of IMDEA Nanociencia and Professor at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and the Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies in Nanoscience (IMDEA Nanociencia), has been awarded the prestigious ERC Advanced Grants support for research with the project Quiral Allotropes of Carbon (QUIRALLCARBON). This project aims to introduce chirality in different allotropic forms of carbon (fullerenes, nanotubes and graphene), expanding the scope of these materials both for applications in biology and in materials science.
